Bonney Lake with a view of Mt. Rainier

After leaving Seattle I was prompted by my roomate Ethan that his parents were kind enough to invite me to visit. They live on Bonney Lake in South Seattle.

Though I had previously met Dean and Leah it was in OC and very briefly. For them to extend the “home from college” invitation was a very kind gesture. After 3 days of swimming in Greenlake (swimmer’s itch!) and sleeping in the van I was certainly in need of some house hold facilities. Leah and Dean rolled out the red carpet! I felt at home upon arrival and was treated like family. After some home cooking and a morning Yoga Class with Leah, I set off to paint Leah’s corner of paridise. (which was conveniently located down the street!) This is what I came up with.

I was treated to a steak dinner with all the fixin’s. We ate on the patio surrounded by Leah’s beautiful garden. Dinner was followed by a patio art show. I was up first explaining the journey chronologically via my paintings. Not to be out done I was alas bested by ole Dean’s musical stylings on guitar and lead vocal.

A very relaxing visit to Bonney Lake had me ready for the last half of the Epic Art Quest. Aunt Leah and Uncle Dean could not of been more gracious hosts! Thanks so much you two! I left Leah with a very pretty Willow tree painting from Greenlake and ole Dean is rocking a “Iron Lion” shirt, in his word’s “representing” EAQ! Very fun and relaxing visit.

Thanks for following the EAQ Blog. I’ve had fun reading your comments. Feel free to drop me an Email if you have any questions:
